Meditation

  • Breath Meditation
    • One of the oldest meditation methods, simple yet directly enhancing our consciousness. We naturally breathe in and out every day without
effort or force, so breath meditation has no side effects and is easy for anyone to practice.
  • Transcendental Meditation
    • This form of meditation focuses on a mantra (a sound or word), which is easy to learn. The practitioner sits comfortably and silently repeats the mantra to focus the mind.
  • Mindfulness Meditation
    • An ancient Buddhist practice where the practitioner sits quietly with eyes closed and focuses on their breath. During meditation, thoughts arise and fade without judgment or criticism, merely observed.
  • Movement Meditation
    • Includes practices like Tai Chi from China, Aikido from Japan, Yoga from India, and Walking Meditation from Zen Buddhism. The focus is on the physical sensations of the body while in motion.

Qigong

  • The term "Qigong" refers to the primordial substance or phenomenon that encompasses both spiritual energy and material energy existing in all
things in the universe. It is considered a part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) alongside herbal medicine and acupuncture.
  • "Qi" refers to vital energy, while "Gong" means practice. Together, Qigong involves training the flow of energy through movements,
diaphragmatic breathing exercises, concentration, or meditation (Zen) to enhance health and well-being.
